Powder Magazine

There are two powder magazines from the Venetian period on the island. The powder magazine constructed near the church of Saint Nicholas remains intact despite suffering significant damage from Ottoman cannon fire during the 1715 siege. It is a square, semi-underground building covered by a dome and enclosed by a wall. Rainwater from its vault is directed into the cistern located to the west.
